What are we today?

An expensive, branded, leather bag displayed on a display window at a fashion store in the heart of a town.

You’ve seen a couple lot of people in this early morning.

A hurried, seemingly working woman passed the store and casted a brief glance at you, a bored look on her face.

A pair of students, high schoolers perhaps, took a look at you with interest. They’re not supposed to be outside of school at this hour.

A pretty woman, looking as glamorous as a high fashion model, halted her step in front of you. She was actually looking at the glass window, taking it as a mirror to examinr her appearance. Annoying prat.

A middle-aged man, looking nervous, took a curious look at you. He seemed to put great consideration in you. You heard him mumbling, “Mina would love it so much …” How sweet. He planned to buy you for his dear one, it seemed. But then his sparkly eyes turned hollow. Maybe there’s much to consider before taking you. You wish you can help, but you’re just a bag. An expensive one.

At last, in this rather chilly morning, you’re taken off from the display case abruptly. You saw another leather bag, a soft-lookinh one, was put on your former place.

You almost grunted in unfairness, but then you felt yourself being grabbed by another hand. A customer.

Phew. So early in the morning to be taken to another place. But you’re a bag meant to be used, you’re supposed to be bought. So you’ve made yourself comfortable in your new owner’s hand. The window viewwas getting boring, anyway.

Still pray for the old man, though.

Bless him. Hope he finds a better one than me.
